Youth Sessions

Is your child eager to hit the trails?
Our youth sessions focus on building a solid riding position while teaching when, where, and how to move on the bike.

Alongside progressing our knowledge, confidence and skills on the bike, we highlight trail navigation, and safe group riding while having fun & looking out for our friends in the forest.

Our youth sessions run for two hours and are for kids aged 7-11.

We currently offer two levels:

  • Youth Foundations = Introduction to Mountain Biking – perfect for kids who are confidently riding at home or on cycleways but have little trail experience.

During our 2 hour adventure, we'll focus on essential biking skills such as: Body position, How and When to change gears and use your brakes effectively to create a smoother ride experience. Learning these basics will help your child ride with MORE CONFIDENCE while staying safe on different terrain.

  • Youth Shredders = For our more experienced youth who already enjoy riding around the forest!

    Ideal for riders who already have some trail experience and want to build more control, confidence, and flow.

    In these sessions, we focus on advanced techniques like:

    Choosing better lines on flowy trails

    Carrying more speed through berms

    Pumping rollers for momentum

    Approaching tabletops with control and confidence

    It's all about building confidence, speed, and style while having a blast on the bike!

These sessions are limited to 10 riders and both our coaches Nicole and Simon will be working together to provide instruction.

Please make sure to read each session description carefully to book the one that best suits your child’s experience.

Expect to see these small group sessions running once a month throughout the dryer period over spring - summer - autumn.
